START HOMESCHOOL STEPS
Necessary ingredients of a model
Home school
FULFILL STATE HOMESCHOOL LAWS:
It’s important to know and learn all the requirements of the state homeschooling law. The requirements of homeschooling are usually with your own school district pupil’s department, also very important to see online about the laws of homeschooling.
DISCOVER YOUR WHY AND HOW:
The most fundamental thing in homeschooling is to decide why I am doing it and how I want to do this since if I get myself clear, it will determine my future goal and further help me in determining how I accomplish the goals and what I will use to home school.
WHAT IS THE MOTIVATOR:
Understand and discover the motivational factors of your child’s personality, to know how he/she learns. The key point here is to teach your students the possibilities of learning one concept in different methods. For example, learning number one a child can learn with a piece of string or he wants to go out in the yard to count the birds.
FINDING CURRICULUM:
All the steps above will help eventually to get the books that have the curriculum that fits your child’s intellectual requirements. There are no set rules to get certain types of textbooks.
You can find a curriculum that supports your philosophy, your requirements, and your student (child).
After determining the curriculum guidelines according to the age and grade level you can better decide, if you want to stick to a single author or you can get a mix for example you don’t want all the subject books from the same author to get different author for three different subjects, look at your child interest jut by downloading sample of books, basic concepts form internet, free download worksheets and interactive workbooks pdf type and see how he/ She like it. The importance of searching is crucial at first then after a few weeks of working you start knowing his/her motivational factors and that tells you where to steer the steering wheel.
DO NOT SPEND UNNECESSARY ON ALL SORTS OF BOOKS from different publishers AND AUTHERS also for notebooks and journals and other stationery don’t spend without thinking be precise and try to minimize the extra expense. Remember Haste always brings waste.
PLAN AND KEEP RECORDS:
A good plan makes your year a success, keep taking snapshots and keeping all sorts of important writing papers and drawings and projects, etc., will defiantly help you at the end to analyze and evaluate where you and your student started and where you end up at the end of the year, putting dates, age and name is very important too.
FIND PEOPLE WHO ARE IN THE FIELD:
This will help you a lot, you can see where you are standing and what are the possibilities BUT “DO NOT COMPARE YOU CHILD AND HOMESCHOOL ENVIRONMENT WITH ANYONE ELSE”.
NOT WISE: people who compare their students will always get confused and puzzled.
Getting Started with Homeschooling
Is homeschooling legal in Pakistan? Homeschooling isn’t regulated under Pakistan law or by the Ministry of Federal
Education and Professional Training. This means that parents in Pakistan can choose to homeschool their children if it is a more viable option compared to traditional schooling.
Education, not schooling; since it has adverse effects on kids, some are here you can judge it yourself: As we enter the back-to-school season, your children may be feeling anxious about what the school year will be like for them. You may be feeling anxious as well, worried both about their happiness with school and with the added pressure it brings to your life. Every day your child will bring loads of homework that neither the child nor you can do in the short time of 5 hours just before you go to bed after a long day, here comes the frustration of a parent and the pity of a helpless child. Not to mention all the extracurricular activities you must support them for. Going back to school can cause stress, anxiety, and depression for kids and adults alike. There’s a good reason for it. When it comes to your kids, they may not always talk about it, yet many factors can affect their mental health.
Here’s what you need to look out for as you send your
child back to school:
1. Fatigue
2. Bullying
3. Standardized Testing
4. Anxiety
5. Fear
6. Homework
7. Stress
8. Depression
9. Social Separatism
10. Psychiatric Disorder
To avoid all the above mentioned problems, please
consider your child to home school.
